Daybreak Games has released two new soundtrack albums for EverQuest and EverQuest 2 with hints of more on the horizon!

The first volume for EverQuest features 14 tracks composed by Jay Lauterwasser from the 30th expansion “Laurion’s Song” and the 29th expansion “Night of Shadow”.

The first volume for EverQuest 2 features 36 shorter tracks composed by Mark Macbride encompassing the two expansions “Ballads of Zimara” & “Renewal of Ro”.

Both of these Soundtracks can be found on these music streaming services:

Jay’s composition and musicianship was first heard on the soundtrack for “Claws of Veeshan” EverQuests 27th expansion released in 2019.

The songs he composed for “Laurions Song” have that grand and emotionally charged sound we all love from the original Jay Barbeau compositions while also adding a fresh and lively sound to the game and it’s most recent expansion.

Meanwhile on EverQuest 2, Mark’s impressive composing really shines with this volume.

The tracks might be shorter but some of them pack a punch, just listen to “Fiddtan Crest” for instance!

Mark’s portfolio is quite large and he’s done a lot of great work for EverQuest 2, and EverQuest with this new soundtrack being a great piece to show off his talent.

Be on the lookout for more soundtrack volumes from Daybreak and the world of EverQuest!

This is a great start for the Year of Darkpaw!
