Here’s a quick guide on completing the Frostfell quest “Braxi Roundup” which is available on servers with The Rain of Fear expansion unlocked. This will be completable until January 7th, 2025 at 11pm PST.
This quest scales for your level and the minimum to start is level 50 but the main tasks are the same, just at level appropriate locations. These are:
- 50-60 Natimbi, The Broken Shores
- 61-70 The Barren Coast
- 71-75 Oceangreen Village
- 76-80 The Loping Plains
- 81-85 Brell’s Rest
- 86-90 Feerott, The Dream
- 91-95 Sarith, City of Tides
- 96-100+ Beast’s Domain
This quest is also repeatable to acquire the entire Frigid Frostell armor ornamentation set but you can only get one Snowstorm weapon or shield ornamentation per character. The armor ornamentation’s require a Heroes Forge unlock on the character as well.

Starting The Quest
You will need about 304pp per character to acquire the items in this quest and maybe a bit more to tip a helpful player. If you plan on repeating it for a full set, multiply this cost by seven.
To get started find Santug Claugg’s Helper in The Plane of Knowledge by the Main Bank and hail him.
Ask him about the braxi’s and tell him you’ll help out. Now you’ll have to track down a shipwrecked Gigglegibber Goblin in one of the locations listed above for your level range.
Upon finding and hailing them they will tell you all of the braxi’s escaped and they need better equipment to catch them! They task you with returning to Santug’s helper to get what is needed.
He tells you that the goblins already have all the strongest rope but a nearby gnome speaks up and asks if you need help catching something. Hail Zoptik and he will task you with gathering several items for him.
Items For Zoptik
Get ready to burn that platinum I mentioned above while also finding a helpful Mage and an Enchanter for this next part. The items he requires for the Braxi Encapsulator are:
- Trader’s Satchel – Bought from Merchant Tekrama in The Bazaar.
- Sharkskin Tubing x2 – Bought from Engineer Beri or Tabben Bromal in The Plane of Knowledge, both are findable.
- Mana Battery Class One – Bought from Maryalis N’Ryt or Nelin Signus in The Plane of Knowledge, findable.
- Rod of Mystical Transvergence – Summoned by a Level 56+ Mage, item is NO RENT.
- Vial of Viscous Mana – Summoned by a Level 11+ Enchanter with the spell “Thicken Mana” and the materials: Pearl (sold by most vendors) and a Poison Vial which can be purchased from Toxicologist Huey in The Plane of Knowledge.
Once you have all the items hand them over to Zoptik and he will give you a Braxi Encapsulator Device.
Catching The Braxi
Return to the location for your level range and look for either a bedraggled braxi or skiddish braxi. Use the device to capture them by targeting the braxi and clicking on the item, you can cast it from a decent distance if needed.
You will also be tasked with slaying eight hungry predators and depending on your zone they might require some tracking down. Once you have captured all the braxi and slayed all the predators you need, return to the shipwrecked Gigglegibber Goblin and give them the Braxi Encapsulator.
Finishing The Quest
The goblin will tell you to let Santug’s Helper know you captured all the braxi. Return to The Plane of Knowledge and hail the helper and you will receive your choice of any single piece of the armor ornamentation sets or one of the weapon/shield ornamentation’s. You will also receive some platinum and experience based on your level, completing the achievement for this Event Quest!
