The 2025 Fippy Awards live premiered on the EverQuest Show’s YouTube channel on Sunday night, announcing winners in a variety of new categories.

The Fippy Awards were created in 2023 to celebrate the best of the EverQuest franchise over the past year.

This year several new categories were added, including Best Content Creator, Best Streamer and Guild of the Year.

The Live Premiere broadcast of the show also provided players an opportunity to watch together and earn prizes for EQ trivia during the show.

Dragons were really the theme of the winners for the Zones and NPC categories. Dragon Necropolis, Bejeweled Undead Dragons and the Aurelian Dragons won in their category.

The exception was the Anniversary Tower, created for the Year of Darkpaw, which took the Fippy Award for Best New Zone in EverQuest.

In the Guild of the Year category, six guilds battled it out for the Fippy Award. From the casual non-raiding “Emerald Alliances Reborn” to the power house race guild of Faceless, there were a variety of Guild types on display.

“Riders of the Storm” was the only EverQuest II guild represented, with EQ Live Servers (“Township Rebellion”) and EQ TLP servers (“Nightfalls Guard” and “That’s EQ Baby”) giving a wide range of representation to all aspects of EverQuest.

In the end, “Emerald Alliances Reborn” took home the Fippy Award for Guild of the Year.

HammackJ won the Fippy for Best Streamer, while the popular Redbeard Flynn won the Fippy Award for Best Content Creator.

Year of Darkpaw activation codes were given away as prizes to the winners and nominees in the categories of Best Stream, Best Content Creator and Guild of the Year. The codes came courtesy of Darkpaw Games.

Next Year’s Fippy Awards are already in the planning stage, as new categories are planned and a split to the Guild category into EQ and EQ2.
