EverQuest 2 Turns 19 – Champion’s Festival

Happy Birthday EverQuest II!

19 years ago , on November 8th, EverQuest II was launched! 

And you can help celebrate with a new festival! For a long time, the EverQuest 1 anniversary has been celebrated in EverQuest II with the chronoportal phenomena, but now in EQ you can celebrate the birthday of EverQuest II with the Champion’s Festival

There are NPCs in Qeynos Hills and Commonlands that offer quests, and the results will give you a few weapon ornamentations of cool looking items from EQ2.

The Quests are currently active and will run through November 13th.

Extra Life Fundraising

The Extra Life Game Day fundraising was a huge success. Darkpaw Games continues to fundraise and has now blown past their stretch goal of $125,000. As of this production, the studio had raised over $158,000 and there’s still time to donate.

But, the collective results have been tallied, and now it’s time to reap the rewards!

From November 8th until November 14th, the collective rewards will be turned on for both EverQuest and EverQuest II!

For EverQuest 1 ALL players on all servers will receive 200% experience gains, 200% more likely rares, a 155% more loot, 100% more coin, 100% more alt currency, 40% decrease in collection spawn rate and 100% more evolving item exp!

  • 100% increased coins
  • 100% increased alternate currency
  • 40% decreased collections spawn rate
  • 100% bonus evolving item exp 

For EverQuest II , players will receive

250% bonus experience, 40% increased rare drop chance, double currency rewards, double loot drops in current expansions and a 20% chance to drop an additional rare on top of the normal drops.

So you have a full week to enjoy the fruits of your fund raising labor!
