May’s second herald foretells the arrival of Karana the Stormlord. Located in the very North shores of the Enchanted Lands.

Karana, known as the Rainkeeper, or Lord of Storms is aligned with Mithaniel Marr and Tunare bringing wisdom and kindness to Norrath.

The Herald themself is a tempest of swirling winds and water standing in front of a large altar to Karana and flanked by two banners depicting the Stormlord’s sigil.

Herald Merchant

The Karana Divinity Merchant has his own animation. He will look from side to side and fold his arms across his chest. Lightning is shown within his body, perhaps a nod to the storm within?

The Karana Divinity Merchant has all the usual merchant offerings. Including the altar travel unlock and the weapons all purchasable.

The Rainchain Whip of the Stormbringer is a one-handed crushing weapon with mist like water vapor surrounding it to give a storm effect.

Stormbringer’s Archstaff is a two-handed crushing weapon, a claw holds a blue gem at the top of the staff. This gem emits a radiant blue light. Symbols or lettering is etched along the staff.

Two Heralds will be setting up camp each month in 2024 to celebrate The Year Of Darkpaw. So far we’ve seen ten heralds and are anticipating the next one to arrive June.
