A look back at the EverQuest 20th anniversary producer’s letter brought up some Top 5’s that deserved a second look.
The info-graphic that was created for the announcement (kudos on this..and moar plz k thx) gave the top 5 classes and races that are played in the game.
From that infographic, here are the top 5:
Top 5 Races
- Human
- Dark Elf
- Wood Elf
- High Elf
- Barbarian
The human as a top race was somewhat surprising to me, as I thought people would be much more inclined to play a fantasy race, as opposed to humans which, presumably, we all are.
Barbarians are also a surprise here, as their large size makes them less desirable.
Top 5 Classes
- Warrior
- Druid
- Necromancer
- Cleric
- Magician
No big surprises in the top 5 classes, as Warriors and Clerics make sense for standard gameplay. Druids and Necromancers also make sense as they are great all-around solo classes. Magicians rounding out the top 5 due to their self-sufficiency.
The EverQuest Show reached out to EverQuest and Daybreak to get a complete list of the ranked classes and races, but have not heard back at this time.
