New progression servers are coming for both EverQuest and EverQuest II.
In the latest Producer’s Letter on August 21, new servers were announced to celebrate the anniversary of EverQuest II.
On November 9, 2019 EverQuest will celebrate 15 years of EverQuest 2.
NEW EVERQUEST TLP SERVER
The new Time Locked Progression server for EverQuest will launch around November 9th.
Characters will start as level 85 Heroic Characters. All expansions up to House of Thule will be available at the launch of the server. Experience gain will be “normal,” the same as Live servers.
Expansions will unlock every 2 to 3 months. More details are expected as the November approaches.
NEW EVERQUEST II TLE SERVER
A Time Locked Expansion server will also launch for EQ2 for the 15th anniversary.
Fewer details were given, but hints at Heroic Characters and all expansions will be unlocked up to Chaos Descending.
The ruleset was described as “unique” and experience rates will be the same as live servers.

Might want to reevaluate the phrase “On November 9, 2019 EverQuest will celebrate 15 years.” might that be intended EQ2?

I’ll have to go back and see how the actual phrase is spoken, but EverQuest (1) will celebrate the 15th anniversary of EverQuest 2….EQ is celebrating EQ2 (If that makes sense?).

Will the new heroic boost server be a true box server??? Please say no.. also I’d love a thread link on the forums if you are discussing this somewhere 🙂

Maybe you could throw n the idea of a TLP Race War server. I could not understand why they have not brought one back. I learnt my skills on the race war server which kept me alive later on in my EQ life.
